ENGINEERING POSITIONS
Systems Engineering Director - Defense/Communications industry. Minimum requirements: U.S. Citizen, BS in Engineering discipline, Masters desired. 15+ years experience with a minimum of 5 years in a Senior Engineering Management role, and 2 years as a Unit Manager of a minimum of 10-20 people. Applicable domain experience. Candidate must be a strong technical leader with excellent interpersonal skills, understand the philosophy of process and most importantly have an ability to work the entire business cycle and have a proven track record of winning new business. Must have strong leadership skills. Must understand proposals and how to win them. Secret clearance required, (T/S SCI clearance desired.). Demonstrated ability leading engineering effort on numerous winning pursuits and proposals. Experience as a Chief Engineer, or Technical Director, and a Unit Manager. Must have led an engineering effort from a concept development phase through the operational evaluation phase while meeting cost, schedule, technical achievement and adherence to a Level 3+ CMMI process. Hardware Design Engineer - Need an experienced AC/RF Design Engineer. Must be experienced in analog hardware design, digital hardware design, system design, power supply design, SMU design, signal conditioning design, PCB board layout and schematics, DAC design, A/D design, low-current considerations, transmission lines, part and component evaluation and selection, theory of operation, technical specifications, and error budgets. Experience using analog circuit simulation tools is a must. Also must be able to troubleshoot and repair prototype electronic hardware. Requires: BSEE with experience in signal path transmission line knowledge for DC, Pulse, AC and RF Signals with hands-on measurement experience, along with manufacturability experience solving design, material and processing issues. Location: Cleveland, OH; Salary:  $90000-$130000.

SR. RF/Microwave Engineer - 3 positions -Major defense and commercial electronics manufacturer. Qualified candidates must be US citizens with ability to get secret clearance. Products include frequency up- and down-converters, amplifiers, oscillators, radar transponders, and flight safety systems. The frequencies range from DC to Ku-band. The microwave power amplifiers range up to several hundred watts. The senior microwave engineer will be responsible for the design and development of microwave sub-systems, using customer provided or internally generated specifications. The engineer shall design, develop, monitor fabrication processes, test, and qualify the design to meet specifications. In close collaboration with lead RF and microwave technicians, the engineer will test and demonstrate the functioning of the sub-system to specifications. In conjunction with the drafting and documentation departments, the engineer is responsible for the generation, update, and maintenance of accurate documentation including schematics, layouts, qualification and acceptance test procedures, work and tuning instructions. Must have a BSEE with 7+ years experience - for Senior position, MSEE with 5+ years of experience. Demonstrated experience with design and development of microwave sub-systems, including but not limited to frequency up- and down-converters, amplifiers, oscillators, and radar components. Location: Philadelphia, PA; Salary:  $100000-$125000.

Product Development Engineer - Client is a technology based company developing and manufacturing innovative pharmaceutical products specializing in advanced and alternative drug delivery through skin. The Product Development Engineer will develop new transdermal microneedle drug delivery products and technologies. This position will also research skin mechanics, new materials, test methods and manufacturing processes. These responsibilities require the ability to specify, design, simulate, source, prototype, test, analyze, debug, integrate, document and transfer to manufacturing the given product. This position will develop designs that are practical for use in product development and for transfer to manufacturing for subsequent commercial use. This position will also model the device and its functions including interaction with skin using FEA or other appropriate methods and establish validity through in-vitro or in-vivo testing. Requires 3 years of experience developing products for the medical device, drug delivery or pharmaceuticals markets. One year of working experience with a masters degree. No working experience required with a PhD. Should be degreed in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of skin anatomy and the mechanical properties of skin, the use of FEA software, the use of mechanical event simulation, experience with microstructure fabrication and replication are desirable. Location: Redwood City, CA; Salary:  $80000-$110000.

Mechanical Engineer - Construction industry. Junior level engineering position. Will analyze and design mechanical and piping subsystems for chemical type processing systems, sizing and specifying pumps, compressors, valves and other process equipment. Duties include reviewing the work of designers, working with subcontract engineering and design firms, and traveling to job sites to provide technical advice and gather design information. Qualifications include a BSME, 2 years of relevant experience in piping system design, working knowledge of pumps and valves, ASME code, and AutoCAD programming. Location: Central Ohio; Salary:  $50000-$55000.

Structural Design Engineer - Construction industry. Will design equipment, structures, and foundations for all company products and systems including chemical processing systems. Specific duties include review the work of designers, CAD Technicians and subcontractors and check drawings for accuracy, work with subcontract engineering and design firms, layout proposed systems, using customer drawings and survey data, travel to job sites to provide technical advice and gather design information, and help evaluate, test, and improve company products. Job requires a BS Civil or Structural Engineering, a professional engineering (PE) license, 3 years of relevant experience in structural design, thorough knowledge of structural design using structural steel, plate and sheet steel and concrete foundations, and working knowledge of AutoCAD and STAAD structural design software. Location: Central Ohio, Salary:  $65000-$70000.

Motion Control Product Engineer - Looking for a hands-on Motion Control Product Engineer who is interested in managing projects and resources. Will provide technical support to engineering, sales and product management on new and existing products. Will coordinate with sales and product management to understand market requests and translate those requests into product specifications to be presented to the design function. Will also participate as a member of the product launch team on new related products. Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems regarding production test requirements, BOM structure, etc. Requirements: BS in Engineering with 5+ years of related experience. Requires knowledge in basic AC:DC drive technology and design. Requires the ability to operate electronic test equipment. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Location: Milwaukee, WI; Salary:  $65000-$95000.

Electrical Controls Engineer - Will design and start up manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic control systems. Will travel to customer sites to start up automated systems, to include adjustment/set-up of drives and control devices, point-to-point wire check out, check out of PLC code, etc. Will be a key technical resource to customers and other departments to address and resolve inquiries and problems, and ensure the successful completion of projects. BS Engineering - knowledge of Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC's preferred. Proficiency on AutoCAD 2000, Promise*E, and PLC programming. Possess strong technical skills and the ability to be flexible and prioritize multiple projects concurrently. Location: Milwaukee, WI; Salary: $50000-$70000. 

Project Engineer - Primary focus will be on one-piece food-service and food-retail walk-in refrigerated storage application and design engineering, with secondary focus on sectional food-service and food-retail walk-in application and design engineering. The Project Engineer is responsible for products related to product application improvement for the purposes of cost reduction, code compliance, cost accounting, and sales applications. Maintains all code compliance and regulatory agency programs and listings to ensure full compliance with applicable standards. Provides working application quotations, bills of materials, drawings, quality manuals, product specifications. Provides technical support to Sales, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Customer Service, and other departments. Maintains records of activities to support key business metrics, documentation required for proof of compliance to applicable regulatory and compliance agency personnel, and local engineering library files and archives to support corporate engineering functions. Stationary Equipment/Piping Engineer - Chemicals industry. Requires a BS in Engineering. Minimum of 10 years experience including all aspects of design, specification, selection, fabrication, installation and start-up of stationary equipment and piping systems. Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Texas preferred. Certified API 510 and 570 inspector. Provide technical support for stationary equipment design, specification, selection, fabrication, inspection, installation, and maintenance, including vessels, heat exchangers, reactors and piping for Primary Materials Engineering (PME). Consults corporate-wide on stationary equipment. Location:  Houston, TX; Salary: $90000-$105000.

Materials Research Scientist - World leader in the design and manufacture of high-tech power systems for industry used in high performance applications such as industrial infrastructure and processes, transportation, space and defense. Research Scientist will fully participate in the activities of the group by conducting testing and evaluation of new materials, provide input to cell design from start to finish, assist the group's involvement in various research projects, report the results of his/her work to the meetings of the group. Requirements: MS or PhD in Chemical Engineering or Materials Science. Some knowledge in cell design or electro-chemistry is desirable, but not required. The ideal candidate will have a creative personality with the ability to think outside the box. Will direct two technicians when needed and interface with outside labs on various services. Mechanical Engineering Manager - World leader in the design and manufacture of high-tech power systems for industry used in high performance applications such as industrial infrastructure and processes, transportation, space and defense. This individual will manage the Mechanical Engineering Department. Requirements: BSME; 8+ years total experience, currently a Manager or Supervisor of an Engineering Department. Experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment, preferably in the assembly of small parts, Pro E and Configuration Management. Location: Hunt Valley, MD; Salary:  $95000-$110000.

Test Engineering Manager - Electronics industry - audio and video automation. Responsible to specify, develop, implement, and support test systems for electronics manufacturing. Drive test strategies in relation to quality, yield, and product life cycle phases. Coordinate the implementation of test strategies into contract manufacturers on a worldwide basis. Drive testability and manufacturability requirements for new product development. Assist in the introduction and ramp of new products and provide sustaining test engineering support. Drive product quality improvements and product cost reductions. BSEE required, advanced engineering degree a plus. Requires: programming skills in C or C++; in-depth experience with LabView, LabWindows/CVI, TestStand and/or other test/diagnostic tools; Experience in the development, deployment and support of ICT, functional test, burn-in and system level tests; Excellent project management skills and organization skills; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Location: New Jersey; Salary: $120000-$150000.
