Manager Retirement Plan Services - CPA Firm. This position is responsible for day-to-day management of a Retirement Plan Administration team and provides plan administration support to clients. Manages all activities of a retirement plan administration team by assigning projects and clients to plan administrators, monitoring performance and ensuring completion of all aspects of plan administration. Trains staff in use of software and established policies and procedures. Reviews staff work and assists plan administrators with complex issues. Maintains client relationships. Reviews, interprets and maintains legal documents in order to ensure plan compliance with current IRS/DOL regulations. Requires: Bachelors Degree with major in Business or related field; Excellent communication and customer service skills; ASPPA or similar designation of QKA or higher; 10 years of retirement plan administrative experience; 2+ years of experience in managing staff; Knowledge of Relius software systems, multiple investment company platforms, and plan document management systems. Tax Manager / Senior Manager - CPA Firm. Manage the compliance of large middle market clients with multi-state and international filings. Consult with clients on tax saving strategies and opportunities. Provide timely and high quality services and work products that exceed our client's expectations. Develop client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client's business. Mentor and train staff to move to the next level. Maintain and build technical skills by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities. Be able to apply technical knowledge to complex situations. The ideal candidate will possess strong written and oral communication skills, analytical skills (including advanced MS Excel knowledge), extensive tax research experience, and impressive presentation skills (including MS PowerPoint knowledge). Vice President and Controller - Insurance industry. Responsible for recommending, implementing, and controlling accounting policies and procedures, and coordinating and operating the financial report, tax compliance, and accounts payable functions of the company, by performing the following duties: Adheres to and ensures compliance with all policies and procedures. Oversees the preparation and timely reporting/filing of all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements prepared in conformity with GAAP (SEC) and statutory accounting principles. Responsible for overseeing the preparation of financial information included in routine management reporting and special requests, as needed. Provides direction, oversight and day to day management of the financial reporting staff. Also, provides guidance to other departments in the organization regarding accounting policies and procedures and internal control. Designs, establishes and maintains departmental structure and staffing to effectively accomplish the organization's goals and objectives. Keep abreast of latest developments as they affect GAAP and the Firm's standards and policies. Work permit required: Saudi Arabian Iqama (will be arranged). A major publicly-owned Saudi Arabian bank seeks a senior level professional credit policy and credit portfolio manager with 15 to 20 years of in-depth credit analysis experience covering all aspects of commercial banking operations. The ideal candidate should be able to conduct his/her own assessment process and be capable of managing a team of VPs covering a wide range of credit related activities. This position requires a genuine interest in developing a comprehensive understanding of the client's business and tax environment, providing a proactive, year-round tax planning approach to maximize efficiencies, minimize taxes, and optimize business objectives. Requires a CPA and current public accounting experience in a similar role. Experience in international tax planning, compliance, research, and US tax compliance including compliance and consultation around 5471s, 8858s, and 1118s. Work with clients and be responsible for identifying new areas for additional international tax planning, as well as assist others in creating new business development opportunities with targets and desired prospects. Direct all phases of international tax engagement planning and administration for primarily Detroit-based clients. Location: Chicago, IL; Salary:  $125K-$150K.

Director of Accounting & Finance - Healthcare industry. This Director is for a Practice Management Medical Group. Responsibilities: Develops, recommends, implements and monitors corporate financial policies and procedures, and establishes internal controls to safeguard the assets of the Corporation; Coordinates and develops plans with external auditors, supervises development of lead schedules and support schedules for auditors, monitors progress, generates financial statements for inclusion in audit report; Directs annual budget process for facilities, develops and monitors timetables, establishes guidelines and formats for development of budgets; Directs the month end close process; Oversees the monthly Physician Compensation Calculations under the Practice Contribution Model. Plant Accountant - Chemicals. B.S. Accounting; Communication skills to effectively deal with both financial and non-financial personnel; knowledge of accounting policies, procedures, and practices. Perform monthly financial close, reporting and forecasts for assigned area. Manage contract labor payroll accrual process through PeopleSoft Time and Labor System.
