Corporate HR Manager - Retail Industry

The HR Manager, Corporate Support will be responsible for the Human Resources support for several Corporate functions including Merchandising, Finance, Legal, Information Systems and Technology, Marketing, and Real Estate. The successful person will be accountable for leading and implementing the effective and consistent delivery of Human Resource programs and services to these corporate organizations. The individual selected for this position must be customer focused and committed to delivering uncompromising customer service. The individual will have accountability for workforce planning including talent management and succession planning. Other duties will include conducting needs assessments, training, the facilitation of small and large groups in meetings and workshops, partnering with the Corporate Team Relations department in the resolution of employee complaints, grievances, and arbitrations as well as involvement in all areas related to legal compliance (civil rights/EEOC, minor employment laws). SALT Senior Manager

This position will lead the SALT practice in this office and be responsible for team development and business development. Overall Strategic Leader. Leader of Local State and Local Tax Practice - communicate and lead the overall Local SALT group Vision/Steering. Direct reporting to SALT Regional Leader. Sets local "marketing" direction for SALT product leaders. "Dotted line" reporting to local tax partner in charge. Establish local SALT vision and strategic plan working with SALT Regional Leader and local tax partner in charge. Establish local overall revenue budgets and targets with SALT Regional Leader and local partner in charge. Set Metrics by product working with Product Leaders. Establish local overall headcount budgets with SALT Regional Leader, SALT DU EIC and local partner in charge. Responsible for achieving local SALT Operating Statement targeted budget. Qualifications: Current public accounting or consulting experience with large firm within a State and Local Tax Practice and Business Development experience. 8-20 years of experience. Tax Manager

Progressive, poised for strong growth, very prestigious organization has an immediate need for an experienced Tax Manager. This position is responsible for all aspects of the organization's tax matters including federal, state, multi-state sales & use, payroll, partnership tax matters, etc. You will be responsible for the preparation of pro forma US tax returns, including fixed asset reconciliation. You will gather data for the quarterly tax provision, assist in providing tax advice to clients such as senior leadership executives, and operations personnel. Direct and develop Tax staff. Direct special projects as needed. Conduct regular meetings with business unit managers to educate them on any or recent tax laws affecting their business operations. IT Auditor-Security

You will perform IT Audits and support financial and operational audits from an IT viewpoint throughout the organization globally. You will focus on integrated and SAP audits and detailed reviews of ERP systems, finance systems, supporting platforms and data center operations. Participate on enterprise-wide engagement teams, work as individual contributors and as Team Members. focus on Financial Systems Reviews, the position may lead and direct IT Audit Teams, ensure high quality IT Audit results and well crafted audit report deliverables. International Tax Manager

Develop and present tax planning strategies for multinational corporations to client executives in manufacturing, distribution, retail and service industries. Facilitate the implementation of International Tax projects including identifying, understanding, communicating and managing projects from inception to completion. Provide technical expertise and knowledge of processes to expand the line of business and develop professional staff. Qualifications: BS in Accounting is required; CPA and MST, or JD a must. 5-7 years of full time tax experience. IC DISC and international tax structuring experience a plus. In this role, you will develop and maintain integrated financial systems that provide accurate information in a timely manner. We have several clients that are looking to grow their Fraud Investigations and Forensic Accounting Consulting practices in NYC. Our clients are midsize public accounting firms and boutique consulting firms. They are currently looking for several partners to help grow this practice. Base salary in the $200K to $400K range and W2 in the $300K to $1MM range annually. Candidates must have extensive experience in creating revenue streams and be able to develop $1MM-$3MM in the first 12 months. Must currently be with a professional services organization. We have similar needs in San Francisco, Chicago, and Los Angeles. The successful candidate will help to oversee the litigation support group and bring expertise to this growing group. This position will be responsible for helping to direct and lead all litigation services activities in the areas of Business Valuation, Litigation, Fraud Offerings, and Forensics. This position is also responsible for coordinating and managing all of the resources and processes to help grow this into a significant, highly profitable practice segment encompassing:  product/service development, creation, development and retention of a high quality team, taking a lead role in targeting our market offerings, and serving as one of the lead project managers on projects that call on multiple disciplines. This role will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring loan approval models that will result in increased acceptance rates and lower default rates of various consumer loan products. The objective of the role is to develop, implement, monitor and adjust credit risk strategies to help manage and grow the loan portfolio by optimizing values of each loan application and customer. Qualifications: Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research, Computer Science or related. Proficient in SAS, SQL and Excel. Strong understanding of consumer finance industry. Extensive quantitative analytics experience. Knowledge of credit report attributes and nontraditional data attributes. Fraud Data Analyst

This role will perform trend and link analysis to detect fraudulent patterns and trends from executing intense data extraction updates and iterative data analysis from multiple credit reporting clearinghouses used in the sub-prime markets. The FDA's role will include a significant amount of data extraction, analysis and ad hoc reporting, using Microsoft SQL Server's and proprietary business intelligence solutions to identify emerging lending fraud trends, develop and define strategies to support lending fraud detection optimization, and provide leadership in developing new areas of analysis to support growing business lines. Qualifications: Degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Operations Research, Computer Science or other related. Experience wt. combined online consumer lending and risk analysis, or other high online volume data intensive environments (i.e. marketing/web analytics). Experience with quantitative resources, combined with performing complex analysis and/or modeling to identify patterns of fraudulent transactions. Subject Master Expertise in SQL Server and SQL Reporting Services, SAS Tools, and BI Tools Suite.
